Privacy policy

Effective November 7, 2026

Snake Live Controller is operated by the owner of the Shud GT YouTube channel to run its interactive livestreams.

Information processed

The controller processes the authorized channel ID, OAuth credentials, broadcast metadata, public chat message text and IDs, author display names and channel IDs, and aggregate video like counts. Game interactions may display a viewer’s public name on the livestream.

Purpose and storage

This information is used to operate broadcasts, apply viewer commands, prevent duplicate rewards, and maintain game progress. OAuth credentials are stored in protected files on the operator’s VPS. Game state, bounded event history and participation records are stored in a local SQLite database. Event history is limited to 100,000 records and participation history to 10,000 records. Seven daily database backups are retained on the VPS.

Access and sharing

The operator administers the server. YouTube receives the broadcast video and audio, including displayed viewer names. Google processes API and OAuth requests under its own privacy policy. The controller uses Google user data only for the described livestream features.

Snake Live Controller’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Revocation and deletion

The channel owner can revoke authorization in Google Account connections and remove the stored credentials. For requests concerning retained viewer interaction records, contact the operator through the linked Shud GT YouTube channel and identify the relevant channel ID or event. Backup copies expire as the daily retention cycle runs.

YouTube’s archived videos and chat are governed by Google’s privacy policy and the channel’s YouTube settings. Website requests may be processed by the hosting and DNS providers to deliver this page.
